Solar reflective upper materials maintain sub 40C internal temperatures

The BIRKENSTOCK Atacama is a modification of our classic Arizona and the right sandal for anyone who is on their feet all day. The pin buckles have been replaced by Velcro fasteners and the sole has been reinforced in the heel area.

The polyurethane sole is foamed in two layers on the footbed and is therefore very flexible, has a good grip and is particularly durable. The upper material consists of the skin-friendly and hard-wearing synthetic material Birko-Flor, which has been reinterpreted in a futuristic look.
